Chemitek water softening agent for solar panel cleaning, 5 L

Chemitek Water Softening Agent (WSA) is an essential additive for professional and safe solar power plant cleaning when using local tap, well, or borehole water with high hardness.

When cleaning solar modules with hard water without special softeners, water droplet evaporation leaves calcium and magnesium carbonate residues on the glass surface – white limescale spots and streaks. These deposits not only degrade the aesthetic appearance of the solar module, but also act as micro-shading that reduces sunlight transmission to the PV cells and, over time, leads to the formation of hot-spots. Mechanical removal of limescale in the future becomes extremely difficult and hazardous to the glass coating.

This concentrated water softening agent is designed for water used to clean photovoltaic modules. It binds mineral ions in hard and very hard water, helping to prevent limescale deposits and white marks after cleaning.

The diluted solution leaves no residue or stains, does not harm aluminum, silicone components, or the anti-reflective coating (ARC) of PV modules, is biodegradable, and solvent-free.

The product is intended for softening wash water; when preparing the solution, follow the label and the appropriate cleaning procedure.
