Description
The Fronius Symo GEN24 8.0 Plus is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW rated AC output power and two independent MPPT trackers. Its DC input voltage range is 80–1000 V, and the product supports the connection of a compatible high-voltage battery for solar energy storage.
Integrated WLAN, two Ethernet LAN ports, two RS485 interfaces, a datalogger and a web server provide the basis for monitoring and energy management integration. The described backup power functions are "PV Point" and "Full Backup"; the "Full Backup" function requires additional external grid disconnection components, and battery compatibility must be verified for the selected system.
The inverter features an IP66 protection class housing, regulated air cooling and an operating temperature range of −25 °C to +60 °C. Its dimensions are 595 × 529 × 180 mm, and the net weight of the inverter is 23.4 kg.
