NexBlue Edge 2 is a next-generation home EV charging station designed for those seeking maximum power, smart capabilities, and future-proof technology in a single device. This unit is an enhanced version of the Edge model, capable of delivering up to 22 kW of power to ensure fast and efficient EV charging on both single-phase and three-phase systems.

The charging station is engineered to make everyday use as simple and seamless as possible. It not only charges your electric vehicle but also intelligently manages energy flows, adapting to the capacity of the household electrical grid and dynamic market electricity prices.

One of the unit's greatest advantages is its future-ready architecture. The charging station supports bi-directional charging, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), and Plug & Charge technologies, enabling your EV in the future to not only consume energy but also feed it back into the grid or use it for household needs.

NexBlue Edge 2 features advanced energy optimization—the unit automatically adjusts the charging speed based on current conditions to achieve maximum efficiency and prevent grid overloads. It features integrated dynamic load and phase balancing, which ensures optimal energy distribution and can automatically switch between phases when required. A NexBlue Zen can also be connected to further expand dynamic balancing capabilities.

The station supports surplus solar energy charging, allowing you to charge your electric vehicle using energy generated by your solar PV system. The additional EcoPilot feature allows you to schedule charging during the cheapest electricity tariff hours, further lowering running costs.

You can control the station via a mobile app, where you can monitor the charging process and energy consumption in real time, as well as adjust settings. NexBlue Edge 2 also stands out for its high level of safety—it features an integrated system of over 40 sensors that continuously monitors operation to guarantee reliable and safe charging.

Note: To enable automatic charging with surplus solar power (Solar Surplus Charging), the NexBlue Zen (Current Sensor) current sensor is required together with NexBlue 3-in-1 CT clamps (or, if you have a smart meter with a HAN/P1 port, the NexBlue Zen Smart Meter adapter). These accessories are sold separately in our shop, and their installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
